We live in an interconnected world, a world in which we are increasingly drawn into the same space and time as people in different parts of the world. This process has been given a name – globalization. Whilst some would argue that the forces of globalization are felt universally, there is perhaps no place where they are more evident than in our city, state and country.

By integrating global communication into out daily lives we acquire real-world communication skills, an enhanced cultural perspective, and a deeper understanding of who we are as leaders. More importantly, we realize that even though our personal circumstances are different, we share much in common with our global partners. Global connections provides us a new audience to share our ideas and opinions.

Andrew Siemer, CEO,  Inventive Group, Inc.

     Foundation as a software engineer/architect that specializes in large scale data driven web applications primarily focused on social networking and ecommerce platforms. He’s always been a “right tool for the job” kind of guy.
     Andrew has written many books. More than half of which are technical. He enjoys running and speaking at user groups and conferences.     
“Inventive” improves lives with technology, a drop of sweat and a whole lot of GET “STUFF” DONE.


Bob Pearson, Senior Advisor, W2O

     Is one of the pioneers of social media marketing. Bob is globally recognized as a marketing visionary who is driving “pragmatic disruption” in the new world of what is now called Social Commerce.
     Bob is an author, frequent speaker, and blogger on digital marketing, as well as a professor at the Syracuse Center for Social Commerce, the US State Department’s Marketing College, The University of Southern California and the University of Texas.
     Prior to W2O Group, Bob worked as VP of Communities and Conversations at Dell, Head of Global Corporate Communications and Head of Global Pharma Communications at Novartis Pharmaceuticals in Basel, Switzerland, 
     Bob serves as an advisor and investor in many capacities. Highlights include: P&G digital advisory board,  Governor of Texas appointment as Chair and Vice Chair of the Emerging Technology Fund for the State of Texas, boards of The Advertising Research Foundation and MedicAlert Foundation, advisor for the University of Texas Center for Global Business and the VETTED Foundation.

Clay Comer, Technical Recruiter, Facebook

     Clay is a people person with a knack for helping people find where they belong.
     He’s been refining this skill for years for some of the top worldwide companies including: Facebook, Indeed, Google, Bell & McCoy, and Orion.
     Clay was born in Texas and grew up in Central Florida. He  had a mind to go into the military from a very young age. In May of 2010 he joined the US Army as a Field Artillery Officer and began his training in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Clay’s first duty station was with 4th BDE, 82nd Airborne in Fort Bragg, NC. He deployed to Afghanistan as a Fire Support Officer in 2012 to Southern Afghanistan from February – September. Clay separated honorably at the end of his commitment as a Captain and moved to Austin to start a sales/recruiting hybrid position with Orion International (now Orion Talent). Before long he had found his way into Tech Recruiting starting at Google, moving to, and now at Facebook. Clay lives in East Austin with his dog, Billy the Kid.
