1.  What is VETTED? 

A not for profit that partners with Tier 1 universities to provide a program for transitioning military veterans who have provided a lifetime of service to this nation.

2.  Where did VETTED come from?

VETTED is the product resulting from 12-months of research regarding the systemic challenges facing our Veterans and a gap analysis within current Veteran transition programs and platforms. Based on this research and gap analysis, University of Pennsylvania – Wharton, University of Texas – McCombs, and Texas A&M – Mays business schools collaborated to create the most comprehensive Veteran transition platform in the Nation. A platform that is scaling across the Nation at a rate unexpected within the last few months.

3.  What does VETTED do?

Transitions Veteran leaders into industry disruptors and entrepreneurs of tomorrow through executive education and practical experience. Strengthening the private sector with our nation’s military talent.

4.  What is the Accelerated Management Program (AMP)?  

A comprehensive transition program at a major university that provides the knowledge, network and experience to help individuals succeed.

5.  How long is the Accelerated Management Program (AMP)?

8 weeks in residence and 5 recommended pre-work online courses to prepare the student for the in residence program.

7.  How long is the online portion of the Accelerated Management Program (AMP)?

Five months are provided to complete the five courses online.

8.  How long is the in residence portion of the Accelerated Management Program (AMP)?

Two months, primarily Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with Networking events approximately twice a week and two weekend seminar exceptions.

9.  Who is the Accelerated Management Program (AMP) for?

Veterans E7 and above, transitioning military members, military spouses, civilian or private sector individuals looking for a comprehensive state of the art transition program. Exemptions are made on a case by case basis.

10.  How do I pay for the Accelerated Management Program (AMP)?

GI Bill, VocRehab, personal or employer funding.

11.  How much does the Accelerated Management Program (AMP) cost?

The cost of the program varies and is determined by the academic institution.

12.  Can someone help me pay for the Accelerated Management Program (AMP)? Is there a scholarship available?

Yes, a limited number of scholarships are available each year.

13.  Can my company pay or help pay for the Accelerated Management Program (AMP)?

20.  Are there housing options available during the residence course? Are we authorized housing allowance?

Basic Allowance for Housing should be paid if you are using the GI Bill during this 8 week program. Please consult the VA Education office in your area to confirm. There are a very limited rooms available at our partner hotels for service members and veterans that are travelling in from out of town.

21.  Are there transportation options available during the residence course?

Transportation to and from the course is left to the student.

22.  What are the prerequisites to apply for the Accelerated Management Program (AMP)?

E7 or above, Honorably Discharged,

23.  Do I get credit or a certification for the online or residence courses from the hosting university?

Credit for courses in the Accelerated Management Program (AMP) is university dependent. You can email contact@vettted.org to ask about the university you will be attending to confirm if the program will offer credit toward a degree or a university program certificate.

24.  Are there networking/outside engagements opportunities during the residence course?

Networking and outside events and engagements will be held approximately twice a week during the course and attendance is highly encouraged.

25.  How many days can I miss from the Accelerated Management Program (AMP) residence course?

Students can miss no more than 8hrs total while in the AMP program.

26.  What does the Accelerated Management Program (AMP) residence schedule look like?

Primarily Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with Networking events approximately twice a week and two weekend seminar exceptions.

27.  What supplies are needed or encouraged to have for the Accelerated Management Program (AMP) residence course?

A laptop, professional email account, pen and paper.
